Groupstays
Students at The Traveling School are able to immerse themselves in traditions and customs of local people while traveling through various countries and communities. Witnessing philosophies and ways of life that are distinctly different enables students to examine various new cultures, and consider their own culture from a new perspective.
CULTURAL IMMERSION:
- On our journey, the students experience local customs, visit unique communities, explore ancient civilizations, learn new traditions, and share an adventure.
- With cultural immersion comes an understanding of ethnicity, background, and culture.
GROUPSTAYS:
- During the semester, students have the opportunity to experience the food, traditions, and community in the host country by participating in a 7-10 day groupstay.
- Students live with a host family and take part in the daily activities of shopping, cooking, and simply getting to know each other.
