Scholarships
- The Traveling School provides eligible students access to scholarships each semester.
- Our generous contributors have provided over $100,000 in scholarship funds to partially sponsor several deserving students during their semester with The Traveling School.
- Donations and grants account for almost 25% of The Traveling School’s annual budget.
- The largest scholarship available from The Traveling School is 50%. This enables us to provide assistance to more families, and we encourage students to fundraise to raise additional money.
The Traveling School offers students access to a variety of scholarships and fundraising programs. These are available to all students on a racially nondiscriminatory basis. Scholarship funds are supported from private donations and scholarship grants.
How do I get a scholarship?
After a student has been accepted to The Traveling School, we will send your family the appropriate scholarship forms, which are processed through Private School Aid Service (PSAS). PSAS uses a scholarship form requiring bank statements and income tax documents. It collects all of the applications for The Traveling School, and evaluates the candidates based on criteria ranging from financial need, extenuating circumstances, and available scholarship funds. PSAS is an outside agency that we use to ensure impartiality and professionalism when working with scholarships
