College Placement
Approximately 70% of high school seniors have similar applications to submit to competitive colleges – these seniors have résumés of the same AP courses, the same high ranking GPA’s at challenging schools, the same volunteer work, the same enthusiasm, and the same extra-curricular activities.
What will make your application stand out from the rest?
An alumnae of The Traveling School won a full merit scholarship to Randolph-Macon Women’s College. Her interview focused primarily around her experiences at The Traveling School.
Another alumnae completed her college interview for Georgetown University with a representative in Cape Town, South Africa. He concluded the interview by noting what a mature and worldly applicant she was, and said her experiences at The Traveling School made her a remarkable candidate for Georgetown.
Other alumni have been accepted to George Washington University, NYU, Colorado College, Boston College, Colgate, Wake Forest, University of Colorado, Sarah Lawrence, Davidson College, Northwestern, Warren Wilson, University of Puget Sound, Reed College, American University, Loyola, Scripps College, California Polytechnic University (Cal Poly), and more.
