College Counseling
It’s not easy to tackle the college admittance process these days.
The Traveling School is committed to helping students succeed with their dreams, and this includes helping students get a leg up in the college process.
As a qualified private educational advisor Vice-Principal, Jim Hammer, can provide counseling and strategies for college planning and selection and help with the admissions process. This applies not only to seniors and juniors, but to the younger students, as well. Honest discussions and guidance at all levels can encourage girls to get the most out of their Traveling School experience.
As a Traveling School student Jim offers you two full hours of complete college advising. This can include:
- Selecting appropriate colleges
- Completing college applications
- College essay review
- Consultation about and planning testing schedules (SAT I, SAT II, ACT)
- Advice for the best match for a student’s interests with her future
If you are interested in pursuing in-depth college advising during or after your semester with The Traveling School, Jim will continue to work with your family as an independent Private Educational Consultant.
